Faith in action

Think of five things that you want to do before you die. Once you have listed them, give yourself a time limit to complete those five things, keeping in mind that our time of death is unknown.

Visit a graveyard with your family and spend some time pondering over what life and death is.

Imam Ja‘far as-Sadiq (a) has said: ‘It is one of the rights of a Muslim over another Muslim that he should visit his grave.’

Upon seeing the graves, greet the inhabitants with salam and recite Surat al-Fatihah.
