5. QIBLAH

Across the globe, wherever they are in the world, all Muslims pray salah at the same intervals, and in the same direction. Allah is everywhere but facing in one direction creates a wonderful feeling of unity.

It reminds us that Islam is a social religion, and that we are one ummah and have brothers and sisters all over the world.
Facing towards the Ka‘bah also reminds us of the Oneness of Allah (tawhid).
