Faith in action
Allah praises the family of Nabi Zakariyya by saying:
فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ يَحْيَىٰ وَأَصْلَحْنَا لَهُ زَوْجَهُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَيَدْعُونَنَا رَغَبًا وَرَهَبًا وَكَانُوا لَنَا خَاشِعِينَ
So We answered his prayer, and gave him Yahya, and cured his wife for him. Indeed they would rush in [performing] good deeds, and they would supplicate to Us with eagerness and awe, and were humble before Us. (Surat al-Anbiya, 21:90)
