Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (a) is reported to have said:

The one who continues going to the mosque does lay his hands upon one of eight benefits:

» A decisive verse of the Qur’an.
» Finding a beneficial brother.
» Freshening knowledge.
» A mercy waiting for him.
» A word leading to the guidance.
» An admonition averting from sin.
» Not committing sin out of shame from Allah.
» Not committing sin for the fear of Allah.
