Amazing animal parents include:
Elephant
After a 22 month pregnancy, baby elephants are the heaviest babies to be born. They are born blind and thus completely dependent on others. But they are blessed with having the whole herd babysitting for them whilst their mothers go and eat enough to produce milk. That’s a great support system!
Penguins
Emperor penguins have the most devoted dads! They spend two months holding the egg through the harsh winter, whilst not eating themselves. The dad has to balance the egg and not expose it to the cold. What dedication!
